When Colgate University was in the process of drafting and eventually implementing a new Academic Honor Code for the University, the Center for Academic Integrity was an invaluable resource for us. A campus visit by one of the founding members during a critical point in our deliberations seemed to be the catalyst that turned the tide of campus opinion from skepticism to support of the proposed code. Finally, the "Fundamental Values of Academic Integrity" booklet published by CAI, served to form the core of our own booklet that we published this year. Without the Center's help and support, I rather doubt that Colgate would have its new Academic Honor Code.
