The Center for Academic Integrity performs a valuable service for member institutions and for higher education by affirming those values of integrity, courage, and responsibility that are so important in the development of the intellect and the formation of character. I would like to add my voice to those of other College presidents who vigorously endorse the values of the CAI and the actions it takes to foster ethical conduct in academic life. CAI has helped to focus attention on these serious matters and to provide much-needed perspective.
