Presentation Formats

Individual presentations will be 45 minutes (with approximately 30-35 minutes for the presentation and 10-15 minutes for questions) and focus on research and practice topics within the general category of academic integrity.

Workshops will be 90 minutes. A workshop differs from an individual presentation in that it is primarily dedicated to active learning and collaboration between audience members and the presenters, and among audience members. Workshops may be presented by one or more presenters.

Panels will be 45 minutes (with approximately 30-35 minutes for the presentation and 10-15 minutes for questions) and include presentations from at least 2 different presenters, preferably from multiple institutions or roles. Time should be devoted to individual presentations and discussion between the presenters.

Posters provide a written or graphic overview of research or programs, and typically include a brief abstract and graphics (tables, figures, or pictures). Poster presenters will be provided with an easel to accommodate one 32 by 40 inch poster board. Presenters must be available for questions during the poster session. Presenters must bring their own materials to tack or tape their poster to the poster board.

Audio/Visual:
All presentation spaces will have a projector with audio, VGA and HDMI cables. Presenters are expected to provide laptops or tablets for their presentations. Additional AV is available from PSAV, the hotel AV vendor at an additional charge to the presenter. A laptop can be made available by ICAI for a nominal fee.
