ICAI Regional Consortia
ICAI Regions help connect people interested in academic integrity in a more local way. Active regions also help to stimulate academic integrity movement locally, which will enhance the global movement. The ICAI Regional Consortium Toolkit was developed as a way to help institutions stay active and connected to the larger AI community throughout the year. It was made available for the first time during our 20th Anniversary Conference in November 2012.
At the initiation of ICAI members, we currently have 4 regions. If you have any questions contact ICAI.

Canada
ICAI Canada held an informal round table discussion in February 2013 and voted to continue on as the ICAI Canadian Consortium, holding their first all-day Canadian themed workshop at ICAI’s 2014 International Conference in Jacksonville and another in 2015 in Vancouver. The group is organized by ICAI Board Secretary Amanda McKenzie of University of Waterloo. ICAI Canada has its own discussion ListServ, and a new web portal.

Southern California
The Southern California Regional Consortium of the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI SoCal) serves as an education and best practice resource for Southern California schools, colleges, and universities working to create cultures of integrity.
US Mid Atlantic
The Mid-Atlantic Consortium began as the Virginia Academic Integrity Working Group in 2015, with it’s first meeting at the University of Mary Washington. Since then, meetings have been held at the College of William and Mary and our first as the Mid-Atlantic Region of ICAI at Christopher Newport University in 2017. With an historic cluster of honor code colleges and universities, our region has a unique perspective on academic integrity. Our regional consortium meetings are held in the Fall on a sponsoring campus and feature a keynote speaker and a strong emphasis on student presentations.
Attendees and presenters from anywhere in the world are welcome, but we particularly invite those affiliated with institutions in Maryland, Washington, DC, West Virginia, Virginia and our neighboring states to join us.
US Southeast
Samford University’s Mann Center for Ethics and Leadership in Birmingham, Alabama, hosted the first Southeast Regional Academic Integrity Conference in Spring 2013 at Samford. Management of the US Southeast Regional Group then transferred to Kennesaw State University in Georgia, where successful regional conferences took place in 2014 and 2016.
US Southwest
In late 2012 Texas Tech University received institutional approval to create and operate the Southwest ICAI Regional Consortium. Membership and a schedule of events are still being developed, and consortium events will be coordinated through the Texas Tech University Ethics Center and its director.
