About ICAI Networking Consortia
Strengthening Academic Integrity Through Collaboration
Dear Colleagues:
Across the world, those of us committed to academic integrity share a common purpose to support ethical teaching, learning, research, and leadership in an increasingly complex educational landscape. As this work continues to evolve and is shaped by external factors like technological advances, shifting policies, and new forms of collaboration, the importance of consortia has never been more evident.
Consortia play a vital role in bringing people together across institutions, regions, and countries. They provide spaces where we can exchange ideas, share research and practice, and collectively address emerging challenges. At their best, consortia foster connections, amplify diverse perspectives, and build capacity within and across systems. They remind us that we are not working in isolation, but as part of local, national, and global communities committed to integrity, trust, and learning.
In this spirit, I am pleased to share that I have taken on a role within the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) Board to support the development and strengthening of academic integrity consortia internationally. My focus is on working alongside colleagues who are interested in establishing new consortia, as well as those seeking to grow and sustain existing ones. This includes sharing practical strategies, facilitating connections, and helping to create structures that enable meaningful collaboration and impact.
Whether you are in the early stages of exploring a consortium model or looking to enhance an established network, I would welcome the opportunity to connect. Together, we can build supportive, vibrant communities of practice that respond to local contexts while contributing to a broader global movement.
As artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies continue to reshape education, our collective engagement becomes even more critical. Through strong consortia we can remain united, curious, and committed to learning from one another as we navigate through challenges and opportunities.
If you are interested in discussing consortium development or strengthening your current efforts, please feel free to reach out to me.
With regards, kindness, and integrity

The ICAI Networking Consortia connect people interested in academic integrity to foster interaction and collaboration. This networking activity stimulates the academic integrity movement in focused areas, while also enhancing the global movement. Each consortia can host events to spread awareness about academic integrity, create networking and promote learning opportunities for anyone working in the field. These are the current consortia:
Consortium for Online Integrity
Latin American International Consortium
